Initiative „Go East“	Central, Southeastern and Eastern Europe as well as South Caucasus and Central Asia		From 01.03.2023 it is possible for students to apply to one of the 33 summer schools in the following countries: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Estonia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Kosovo, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Czech Republic, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Hungary, Uzbekistan.
CSP PhD Scholarships for the Academic Year 2023/24	China	February 28, 2023	Ph.D. candidates registered in an overseas university are eligible to apply for a “Joint Research Ph.D. Fellowship," and those who have obtained a master's degree and are interested in pursuing a Ph.D. degree in China may apply for the “Ph.D. Program in China."
Call for applications for Chinese partner universities 2023/24	China	March 10, 2023	Within the framework of the exchange agreements with Nanjing University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Peking University and Zhejiang University, a number of study places can probably still be allocated for the academic year 2023/24.
CiRA Research Internship Program	Japan (Kyoto University)	March 17, 2023	The program invites undergraduate and graduate students interested in joining CiRA as a student or postdoctorate researcher later in their studies or career to attend a CiRA lab.

2023 Kyoto University Amgen Scholars Program	Japan	February 1, 2023	A summer undergraduate research program in science and biotechnology sponsored by Amgen Foundation. It is an eight-week program from June 6 to August 5, 2023.
“Language & Practice in Japan” (DAAD)	Japan	January 31, 2023	The SP Japan program offers German graduate students the opportunity to learn the Japanese language from scratch and experience the country's culture and economy first-hand during the 16-month funding period.

PROMOS Scholarship 2023	worldwide	April 28, 2023	The PROMOS programme supports study abroad stays by funds provided by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
Fellowship for a two-year MA Program in German Studies	China, Nigeria, Poland, Germany, the United States	Juli 15, 2022 (or until position is filled)	The German Studies program at the University of Connecticut is offering a stipend of approximately $25.000 per year plus $4.000 fellowship for a two-year MA Program in German Studies starting in August 2022.
