Yonsei University, Seoul
Within an exchange agreement with Yonsei University, one of South Korea's leading research universities, two exchange spots are available for Heidelberg University´s students.
The language of instruction is usually Korean. English-language courses are also offered in some degree programs. Exchange students have the opportunity to take Korean language courses. The courses are open to students from all departments. Subject study in the same field of study as at Heidelberg University depends on the courses offered at the partner university and is therefore not guaranteed.
Unfortunately, there are limited opportunities for exchange in medicine and law at Yonsei University. Students in these fields would therefore be required to take courses in other departments. If this is not a problem for you, we look forward to receiving your application.

You can apply for the exchange programs via an online platform. Information on the required documents can be found on our pages and in the FAQs. If you have any questions about the application process, the International Relations Department's Study Abroad Infocenter will be happy to help.

- Curriculum vitae in tabular form
- Letter of motivation/Statement of purpose (approx. 1-2 pages)
- Two letters of recommendation from university professors
- Transcript of records
- if applicable, intermediate examination/preliminary diploma/bachelor's degree certificate
- English language certificate
- High school diploma
