CHANGE OF UNIVERSITY: SUBJECTS WITHOUT ADMISSION RESTRICTIONS IN HIGHER SEMESTERS
Some Bachelor’s/State examination degree programmes do not have admission restrictions in higher academic semesters.
The application and admission procedures may however differ for transfer students. As a German citizen, you are not required to submit an application to enrol in degree programmes without admission restriction
EU/EEA citizens and international applicants with a German university entrance qualification
All students who are or were enrolled at a university in another EU member state and would like to continue in a degree programme with the same name at Heidelberg University in a higher academic semester can apply for admission as a transfer student.
Applicants from non-EU/EEA countries
All students who are or were enrolled at a university in an EU member state and would like to continue to study the same subject at Heidelberg University in a higher academic semester can apply for admission as a transfer student.
