The following documents must be submitted in time for participation in the supplementary examination at the Studienkolleg:
- Application for participation in the supplementary examination
- Foreign evidence of prior education (certified copies)
- If the evidence of prior education is not available in German or English: additionally certified translation into German or English
- German applicants: additionally a recognition of the foreign school-leaving certificate by the regional council in Stuttgart
- Assessment test diploma (certified copy, uncertified copy if taken at the Studienkolleg in Heidelberg)
- If present: Evidence of very good prior knowledge in other examination-relevant subjects (uncertified copies)
Open application dates and application site
Applications for participation in the supplementary examination can be accepted during the following application periods:
- Applications from 1 to 30 April for the supplementary examination in July
- Applications from 1 to 31 October for the supplementary examination in January/February
The open application dates are statutory cut-off periods. Documents in support of an application to the Studienkolleg that are received by Heidelberg University after the end of the open application dates cannot be considered in the selection and admission proceedings.
