Semester Events ProgramPresentation Skills for your Studies for International Students

Oftentimes, it is not a lack of language skills that stands in the way of a student’s active participation in class but the fear of making mistakes or not being understood. This course aims at helping you to overcome these difficulties and to give you more confidence in using the German language.

Content of the course:

• Practicing of vocabulary, pronunciation and grammar
• Practicing of presentation skills in regard to structure, comprehensibility, pronunciation, speech velocity and body posture
• Intercultural communication when dealing with lecturers and fellow students

Registration for this course is now possible.

This course will be offered in German. Prerequisites are therefore good German language skills (min. Intermediate Course II).

The course is directed at international students in their first semesters of their bachelor studies who are willing to improve their verbal and expressive skills in regard to the university’s requirements.

Please check with your institute whether recognition as ÜK (max. 1 ECTS) is possible.
