Excursions SATURDAY DECEMBER 13th - CHRISTMAS MARKET IN TÜBINGEN/ESSLINGEN

Tübingen is where Swabian cosiness meets international flair – a small town on the Neckar river that is actually one big university. You will discover the most beautiful corners of the town during an exciting guided tour through the historic centre: past Hohentübingen Castle to the famous Hölderlin Tower and traditional university buildings such as the Burse, the Stift and the Alte Aula.

Afterwards, you will dive right into the colorful hustle and bustle of the Tübingen Christmas market – unique, atmospheric, and full of culinary Swabian specialties.

But that's not all: in the afternoon, we continue to Esslingen, where one of Germany's most fascinating medieval Christmas markets awaits you. Between half-timbered houses and historic stalls, you'll feel like you've been transported to another time – with fire shows, jugglers, craftsmen, and a traditional atmosphere.
