Excursions CANCELLED! SATURDAY JANUARY 24th 2026 - COLOGNE

THIS EXCURSION HAS BEEN CANCELLED!

“Cologne is a feeling” – Germany's fourth-largest city attracts millions of visitors every year with its cosmopolitanism, tolerance, and Cologne Carnival.

Discover more than 2000 years of history in this Rhine metropolis on a tour of the old town. In addition to the city's most famous landmarks, Cologne Cathedral (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), the Romanesque church of St. Martin and the famous row of houses at the fish market, our city tour will take you past many of Cologne's original characters. Find out who Tünnes and Scheel are, where the only monument to carnival in Germany stands, and who drove the Heinzelmännchen (brownies) out of the city.

The afternoon is free for you to visit the city's numerous museums or go on an extended shopping expedition in one of Germany's longest pedestrian zones.
