Our trip on the second Saturday of Advent  will take us to the cities of Stuttgart and Esslingen.

In Stuttgart, the capital of Baden-Württemberg, you’ll discover the Old Castle with its Renaissance arcades, the Baroque architecture of the New Castle, as well as Schillerplatz, home to the Alte Kanzlei. With its uniquely decorated wooden huts and elaborate winter scenes, Stuttgart’s Christmas market is certainly worth a visit. Finally, we’ll head to the Mercedes-Benz Museum, where you’ll learn more about the 125 year history of the car.

In the old imperial city of Esslingen, with its quaint traditional houses and historic town hall, you’ll find yourself at one of Germany’s most beautiful and popular medieval Christmas markets. Be amazed by the jugglers, fire eaters, and medieval craftsmen and women. It’s quite a show!
