At the beginning of their studies, international students must take care of certain formalities, both at the university and outside. On this website, you will find the most important topics as well as information on services offered at the university. The information sheets and websites contain basic information as well as contact information of offices you can contact for further information.
Orientation Days for new international students
This website is currently under construction. Thanks for your patience.
The Orientation Days for new international students in the winter semester 2022/23 will, for the most part, take place on Campus, with a few additional online sessions. On this website, you will find the schedule as well as access to the online conference rooms (including instructions on how to join the sessions). Furthermore, you will find the presentations that will be held during the live sessions as PDF files. Thus you can check if you are interested in a given session and if you have questions which you would like to ask in the sessions. You will also find more information on the given topic (flyers, websites etc.).
Most of the sessions of the Orientation Days will take place on campus. We would like to ask all participants to wear a facial mask (FFP2 or medical) at all times.

Heidelberg University’s International Relations Office offers a number of excursions for international students every semester. Explore Heidelberg and its surroundings and meet other international students. This presentation gives an overview of all excursions planned for the semester.
