Licenses

When creating editions or other text analysis work, programs are used that are not available free of charge. InDesign and Oxygen are examples of applications that are most commonly used in analog and digital editing and have now introduced payment models. HEDIT would like to support Heidelberg editors in their work and provides licenses for programs that have become indispensable for editorial work.

License applications can be submitted at any time by email to the HEDIT research center. The message should contain the following information:

  • License (program)
  • Type of license (collective license, etc.)
  • Edition project
  • brief justification

The board decides on the allocation of licenses.
