The Research Council of the Field of Focus 3 (FoF3) supports careers in the humanities and humanities scholars outside of the university. Specifically, a small group of PhD students, postdocs and science managers are being promoted in the profile-building measures of FoF 3 (Thematic Research Networks, Explorer Project).
In addition, Heidelberg University has an extensive and diverse range of measures for the promotion of young researchers. The Research Council is developing complementary measures that specifically address the needs of humanities scholars. Please watch this site for updates.

heiTRACKS career support
heiTRACKS is the umbrella term for many different support programmes for the group of early-career researchers with a doctorate. Besides fostering research-relevant cross-disciplinary competences, heiTRACKS also covers advisory and coaching services tailored to all important decision-making processes.
