Other funding Cultural heritage as a field of cultural education: strengthening and developing transdisciplinarity
The project aims to implement and promote the sustainable and long-term anchoring of cultural heritage topics in university teaching and their resonance in society.

The research in this project focuses on the interfaces between science, education and social engagement. The planned measures include the design and implementation of an additional or cross-disciplinary qualification (in cooperation with the Heidelberg School of Education, HSE) and the development of a programme for a school competition. Furthermore, a simulation game on the topic of ‘The struggle for cultural heritage’ is being developed as part of the project in cooperation with the State Agency for Civic Education.
The aim of the project is to contribute to the reflection on cultural heritage and ultimately to actively shape its transformation.
