Guidelines

  • Each person/student can be funded for a maximum of 12 months per study cycle (Bachelor, Master, PhD). Students in state examination programs can be sponsored for a maximum of 24 months. Stays at several partner universities are possible.
  • Only students of Heidelberg University (the applicant university) can be selected for ERASMUS places.
  • Transparency in the selection of applicants is required, i.e. selection criteria and deadlines should be published in each subject.
  • The selection of ERASMUS scholarship holders must be fully documented, i.e. rejections and reasons must be listed on the application form.
  • Already at the beginning of the study stay, a large part of the total grant should be paid to the ERASMUS scholarship holders.
  • The ERASMUS grant is only available to the student if all required documents have been submitted.
