As part of the partnership between Hebrew University and Heidelberg University, students from Heidelberg have the opportunity to apply for a scholarship to study at the Israeli partner university.

Hebrew University offers a wide range of subjects in both the humanities and social and natural sciences.

Waiver of tuition fees. Erasmus+ ICM scholarships are possible in individual cases.
Requirements

For teacher training programs: Completed basic studies at the start of the stay abroad; for Bachelor's degree programs: at least 3rd semester at the time of application; good knowledge of English is a prerequisite, basic knowledge of Ivrit is desirable.

It is possible to attend an intensive Ivrit course at the Rothberg School for Overseas Students of the Hebrew University before the semester begins in August / September.  An application for a PROMOS language course scholarship is recommended for this purpose.

  • TOEFL 80 or IELTS 6 official scores, ZSL language certificates (at least B2 level) are also accepted.
