Poster calendar View of Bergheim Campus Library

A light-flooded stairwell, glass steps, behind them study places and lots of books: the new Heidelberg University poster calendar shows a view of the library in the former Krehl hospital on Bergheim Campus. The large, A2 format poster has now appeared for 2026.

In 2009 the institutes of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences moved into the former Ludolf Krehl hospital in Bergheim. After two years of restoration and renovation, the listed monument became the central element of Ruperto Carola’s Bergheim Campus. An extension was built to accommodate the campus library, linked via a glass stairwell to the main building. The library, containing specialist literature in the fields of sociology, politics, and economics, comprises approximately 380,000 books and volumes of journals. In addition, there are over 350 reading and study places over four floors.

Members of the university and interested individuals can pick up the new poster calendar from the internal post rooms in the university administration (Seminarstraße 2) and Im Neuenheimer Feld 367, room 021. It is also available as a take-away in the foyer of the Old University, Grabengasse 1.
