In cooperation with its student services organisation, Heidelberg University is offering two more vaccination drives in the Old City and on the Im Neuenheimer Feld Campus, between 1 and 17 February 2022. They are intended for all members of the university – students, in particular – and the student services organisation, as well as their children from twelve years of age.

As of 1 February 2022, the mobile vaccination team of the Rhine-Neckar District health authority will carry out vaccinations every Tuesday from 9am to 3pm in the parent-child Café Einhorn of the Triplex Mensa in the Old City. As of 3 February, every Thursday from 9am to 3pm, vaccination is possible in the InfoCafé International of the central refectory (Mensa), on the Im Neuenheimer Feld Campus. The last opportunity for vaccination will be towards the end of the lecture period in the 2021/2022 winter semester, on 17 February.

On offer are first, second and third vaccinations, with the booster being possible at the earliest three months after completion of the basic immunisation. Those desiring vaccination between the ages of twelve and 30 will receive vaccine from BioNTech/Pfizer, over 30-year-olds optionally vaccine from BioNTech/Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson. No prior appointment is required.
