Commissioner of the RectorateAnti-Corruption Commissioner

Corruption occurs in all areas of life in society. In the area of public administration, corruption leads to great tangible damage, but it also does enormous intangible harm, in particular through a loss of trust in the institution. Hence it is the responsibility of Heidelberg University to guard against legal offences of this kind and to fight corruption itself.

The anti-corruption commissioner is commissioned by the Rectorate and advises university committees, governing bodies and executive staff on how to prevent and deal with corruption. He is available as a contact person for all employees in matters of corruption prevention and control.
