Heidelberg is a unique place to study
Receiving the Germany scholarship during my Master's degree made me feel valued and confirmed my wish to become a physicist. The scholarship opened many doors for me - both through the exchange with other scholarship holders and alumni as wells through valuable contacts with my two sponsors BASF SE and the Leonie Wild Foundation. Through my contact with BASF SE, I had the opportunity to do an internship at trinamiX GmbH, a subsidiary of BASF SE. This experience gave me valuable professional impulses.
Physics and natural sciences have been with me my whole life. Heidelberg was and is a unique place to study: not only do I meet many like-minded students here, but I can also benefit from a broad range of topics.
I have remained loyal to Heidelberg even after completing my Master's degree and am now doing my doctorate in Prof. Klingeler's working group in experimental solid-state physics at the Kirchhoff Institute of Physics. In my doctorate, I am investigating magnetic order and its formation in unusual materials with the aim of elucidating the underlying microscopic mechanisms.
