Donate to the Amirana Scholarship

Why donate?

We are asking for your support in order to make sure that future generations of highly motivated, international medical and dental students from low- and middle-income countries can receive the financial assistance they need quickly and easily. These students find themselves in difficult financial situations through no fault of their own and need additional resources to complete their studies.

Follow the lead of the Amirana Scholarship initiators and invest in the next generation. Your donation offers young people a perspective and a possibility for a successful professional future.

An investment in the education of future healthcare professionals in low- and middle-income countries is an invaluable contribution to the relief of hardship, the reduction of global inequality, and peacekeeping. These countries may struggle already with hunger, political unrest or educational hardship. The COVID-19 pandemic has only exacerbated these existing problems, and in some cases created new ones.

Your donation provides the security and freedom necessary for a successful graduation. Make somebody’s dream a reality!

Thanks to the scholarship, I can keep living my dream and become the best doctor possible. I hope one day I can do the same for future students with financial difficulties.

After my studies I would love to return to Cameroon. Germany already has very good doctors and I would like to profit from the opportunity of studying here to help develop the medical education of my country.
