Training Course for Mentors Start your mentorship well prepared

Advisors, role models, and confidants – alumni who participate in the Heidelberg Alumni International mentoring program fulfill a variety of functions for their mentees. In order to optimally prepare active and future mentors for their role and support them in carrying it out, HAI is offering a practice-oriented training course for the first time in October 2025.

Mentors play a valuable role: they support students and young graduates in their studies, careers, and personal development. In the training course, participants gain an overview of what mentoring means, what tasks and opportunities it involves, and how to make mentoring a success. In addition to theoretical basics, they can also expect practical tips. The aim is to prepare participants for their role so that they can provide young talents with optimal support through their knowledge, experience, and networks.

The event is aimed at alumnae and alumni who are already involved in mentoring or would like to get involved in the future. If you are interested, please contact us by email at mentoring@alumni.uni-heidelberg.de
