In between the anniversary events you can join the celebration by taking part in any of the #25HAI interactive campaigns.

Together with others or on your own. In a group, in your region, in your country, or worldwide. Participating, and above all, enjoying, is the maxim of this category.

Maybe you’d like to support people and projects financially? We look forward to your donations. These are just a few of the ways to get involved.

With #25HAI sporty through the summer

Summertime - vacation time: time for me, time for you, time for us and time for sports activities! Together with the Institute of Sports and Sports Science at Heidelberg University (ISSW), we are presenting you varied offers for the whole family this summer. Of course, this also works in winter on the other side of the globe.

Look forward to videos to follow along with, mini-workouts to try out, and a vacation program for kids on site live in Heidelberg. Let ISSW students inspire you to take an active break.

So: get off the recliner or the sofa, just get going and make the summer or winter break active!

HAUS Book Club: Heidelberg Requiem

Do you like crime novels?  Do you yearn to revisit Heidelberg?
If you answered “Yes!”, then we have just the activity and the book for you!

The alumni club Heidelberg Alumni U.S. (HAUS) will read “Heidelberg Requiem” by Wolfgang Burger as part of the celebration for #25HAI. The publisher describes the novel as “a gripping story with plenty of Heidelberg atmosphere, featuring an unusually sympathetic protagonist.”

The book is available in English translation (e-book format) via online services and in the original German from German bookstores or online (German title: Heidelberger Requiem).

HAUS invites all interested alumni to read and discuss Heidelberg Requiem with us.

Participating is easy: Get the book, and read away! The HAUS Book Club will meet to share insights and discuss the novel via Zoom on 12 September 2021.
