In its day-to-day work, the heiCO team plays a moderating and coordinating role between the various stakeholders at Heidelberg University (central institutions, departments/faculties, URZ, external institutions and bodies, etc.). This is an essential prerequisite for driving forward the development of topics of overarching and common interest in the area of teaching and learning from the position of the central data management system. In addition, heterogeneous processes and documents can be gradually harmonised in coordination with all parties involved. These topics and processes include, for example, the simplification of admission/examination regulations, the merging and synergy creation of various digital administrative systems and the expansion of international mobility and digital administrative exchange.
