Semester Events IDeFix
IDeFix is the name of the theatre group of the Institut für Deutsch als Fremdsprachenphilologie (IDF) and the International Relations Office. We want to encourage all students interested in theatre to take the stage. We believe that acting is one of the most spirited, joy-filled and effective ways to learn German and experience the language in all its facets.
IDeFix Theatre seminar: Successful communication for university and for work
A theatre seminar is communication training related to real-life. Whether you are on a stage, give a presentation in class or interview for a job in front of a webcam: Each interaction aims at connecting with your audience or conversation partners. You want to present yourself and your case as best as you can, but at the same time, you need to perceive the other side in order to create a fruitful exchange of everyone involved.
Our training seminar will benefit you both in the remainder of your academic programme as well as in your future career. Because nowadays, personal appearance and communication skills are more sought after than ever.
Based on a general theatre training for voice and body, we will work on a theatre revue with mini-dramas, which we will present to the public at the end of the semester, with make-up and costume in the spotlight, stage fright included.
