KidS - Studying with children

Heidelberg University, the Student Service Organization as well as the local authorities and the State of Baden-Württemberg offer a wide range of services and measures to support student parents. On this website you find all of the information about the different offers and services.
 

You find information about the childcare institutions of the Student Service Organization for children between two month and school-starting age. These offers comprise long-term day-care as well as short-time childcare.
Furthermore, you find information on childcare offers of the city of Heidelberg.

Student parents are able to get information concerning exams, student fees, part-time study, leave of absence and study break. They can get tips about maternity leave/ parental leave, financial aid and offers for support in apartment search. For that purpose we gathered information in our updated KidS – information flyer, sorted by relevant topics, which are important before childbirth or play a role after the birth.
 

And last but not least, we’d like to present the Club Parentes, where student parents regularly meet to talk, establish networking contacts and support one another.
