ERASMUS Placement
The ERASMUS Placement Programme is part of the EU training programme ERASMUS+. In Germany, the programme is organised by the national agency, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The programme offers financial support to students who complete an internship in any of the eligible European countries.
The regional liason office, KOOR/BEST, is located at Karlsruhe University of Applied Science. It currently coordinates the ERASMUS Placement Programme for 38 universities in Baden-Württemberg, including Heidelberg University.
Who Recieves Funding?
- Students, who have already been registered as a full-time student at a German university.
- Graduates, who will complete their internship within the year following their graduation. Internships completed by graduates will be considered part of the previous study cycle. For this to be the case, the applicant must be enrolled at a university at the point of application, but no longer be enrolled at the time of completing the internship. A certificate of exmatriculation or degree certificate, or a certificate from the university stating that the student has completed all credits, serves as proof of exmatriculation.
- Funding may only be awarded for full-time internships. Part-time internships cannot be funded.
