Extension of your studies
If you plan to extend your time at Heidelberg University for another semester, you will need to hand in the following papers by December 15th:
Extension within the ERASMUS programmme
- an informal application letter by the student
- an official letter of agreement from your home university stating your ERASMUS status
- an informal letter of agreement by your departmental coordinator in Heidelberg
- payment of the Social Service fee (between Jan.15 and Feb.15)
Extension without the ERASMUS programme
- an informal application letter by the student
- a financial statement/bank letter for this semester (fform available in Seminarstr. 2, Room 33)
- an informal letter of agreement by the departmental coordinator in Heidelberg
Between January 15 und February 15: - payment of the Social Service fee
- payment of the administrative fee
Please note: In both cases the student’s status is ‘fulltime non-degree student’. This means that you are registered as a regular student but you are not entitled to take part in final examinations. If you rent a room in a student residence, we will not be able to extend the lease for another semester.
