Board of Directors

The Board of Directors consist of the four department heads at IPMB and elects the Managing Director and a Deputy Managing Director for a period of two years. The nomination is affirmed by the rector.
The Managing Director represents institutional interests towards the rectorate, the university, and the scientific community. He manages the IPMB administration.

The Managing Director reports monthly to the board of directors. He holds responsible for the institute budget and must consent to the usage of the instutional premises.

Teaching at the institute is coordinated by the Deans of Studies.
