of
the
PCI
provide
intensive
training
on
the
most
recent
developments,
techniques
and
applications
in
physical,
biophysical

theoretical
chemistry
and
prepare
students
for
direct
entry

competitive
research
and
careers
in
science
and
industry.
The
PCI
currently
hosts
20
research
groups
of
which
8
are
headed
by
tenured
professors
and
the
others
by
senior

junior
group
leaders
providing
young
scientists
early
independence
and
responsibility.
Altogether
the
PCI
has
more
than
180
researchers
and
staff.
The
institute
is
tied
