Schlieben-Lange-Programme
Funding Programme of the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts Baden-Württemberg
With this programme the state of Baden-Württemberg sets out to increase the number of women academics at universities in Baden-Württemberg. The Schlieben-Lange-Programme is aimed at mothers attempting to combine the academic qualification process with the acquittal of family obligations.
The programme is financed by the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts (MWK) and the European Social Fund.
The Schlieben-Lange-Programme includes three different lines of funding for women in different situations:
Line A
Line A funding supports women at universities, colleges of education, arts or music pursuing their promotion, habilitation or a comparable qualification in arts. The means are supposed to avoid an interruption of the qualification process.

Line B funding offers support to women academics who want to continue the academic or artistic qualification procedure after parental leave.
Line C
Line C funding offers support to women working in a non-academic environment who do have experiences in lecture at a college and want to get a extra-occupational qualification for a professorship at the college.
