Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Drechsel

Professor for Practical Theology, with a focus on Pastoral Care,

Prof. Drechsel deals with pastoral care in the context of contemporary culture, pastoral care for the elderly, the teaching of pastoral care, as well as pastoral thelogy and pastoral psychology.

Among his publications are the monographs "Pastoralpsychologische Bibelarbeit. Ein Verstehens- und Praxismodell gegenwärtiger Bibel-Erfahrung" (1994), "Lebensgeschichte und Lebens-Geschichten. Zugänge zur Seelsorge aus biographischer Perspektive" (2002), „Gemeindeseelsorge“ 2015.
