Postdoctoral research associate
Dr. Andreas Fuchs is a postdoctoral research associate at the Chair of International and Development Politics at Heidelberg University. He is currently on leave to work as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Niehaus Center for Globalization and Governance at Princeton University. Having pursued his Ph.D. studies in Goettingen, Princeton and Heidelberg, he defended his dissertation at University of Goettingen in August 2012. His Ph.D. thesis is entitled "Political Determinants of Foreign Aid and International Trade of Emerging Economies" and has been supervised by Prof. Dr. Axel Dreher.
Andreas Fuchs holds a Master’s degree from Goethe University Frankfurt as well as from Dauphine University Paris and has worked as a consultant for the OECD and the Bertelsmann Foundation.
