Vera Eichenauer participates in the project "The Economics of Emerging Donor in Development Cooperation" funded by the German Research Foundation together with Axel Dreher and Andreas Fuchs.
 
From January 2013 through December 2014, the Swiss Network of International Studies supported her research in the project "The Proliferation of Multilateral Funds" (project outcomes listed here) jointly with Axel Dreher, Simon Hug, Katharina Michaelowa, and Bernhard Reinsberg. During her PhD studies, Vera Eichenauer took several courses at the Centre for Doctoral Studies in Economics at the University of Mannheim. In April 2014, she was at the World Bank for a research stay. Vera Eichenauer worked as a consultant for the World Bank, the French Agency for Development Cooperation and the German GIZ.
 
Vera Eichenauer holds a Master's degree in International Affairs from SciencesPo Paris and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Fribourg. In Fall 2010, she studied at Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University in Washington D.C. Previously, she worked at a microfinance investment fund and at the OECD.
