Education

Mar 2010-present: PhD student in the Emmy Noether project ‘Pragmatic functions and meanings of ancient Greek particles’ (2010-2014), Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg, Germany.

Sep 2006-Feb 2010:  Research Master ‘Ancient Studies’ (cum laude, specialization: Greek linguistics), VU University, Amsterdam, the Netherlands. MA thesis: ‘The semantics and pragmatics of the potential optative in classical Greek drama.’

Sep 2003-Aug 2006: Bachelor Greek and Latin Languages and Cultures (cum laude), Radboud University Nijmegen, the Netherlands. BA thesis: ‘Diminutiva in Aristophanes’ Acharniërs.’

Teaching

Sommersemester 2012: Lektürekurs griechisch: Sophokles' Antigone. Einführung in den Umgang mit literarischen Texten.

Other activities

Dec 2010-present: Actress in the Drama Group of the English Department, Heidelberg University. Performances of the play 'Two girls and a guy' in Heidelberg (Sep and Nov 2011) and Amsterdam (Jan 2012). Performances of the play 'coloRED' (May 2012), and 'Love Bites (June 2012) in Heidelberg.

Apr-Jul 2010: Actress in 'IDeFix', a German theatre group for foreign students, Heidelberg.

May 2006-May 2009: Founder and president of amateur theatre group 'Klein Zusje', Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Leading actress in three productions, including 'Antigone' by Jean Anouilh.
