Mar 2010-present: PhD student in the Emmy Noether project ‘Pragmatic functions and meanings of ancient Greek particles’ (2010-2014), Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg, Germany.
Sep 2006-Feb 2010: Research Master ‘Ancient Studies’ (cum laude, specialization: Greek linguistics), VU University, Amsterdam, the Netherlands. MA thesis: ‘The semantics and pragmatics of the potential optative in classical Greek drama.’

Apr-Jul 2010: Actress in 'IDeFix', a German theatre group for foreign students, Heidelberg.
May 2006-May 2009: Founder and president of amateur theatre group 'Klein Zusje', Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Leading actress in three productions, including 'Antigone' by Jean Anouilh.
