Ultrafast Dynamics of polyheterocycles studied with multidimensional femtosecond

Femtosecond time-resolved spectroscopy based on transient absorption, fluorescence and recently developed multidimensional spectroscopic techniques will be used to study the complex ultrafast energy and charge transfer processes of the molecular systems developed by the synthesis groups. Emphasis will lie on the process of singlet-fission in polyheterocycles and on the influence of halogenation on the dynamics.
