PhD Program
Welcome to the homepage of the PhD Program. The Faculty of Biosciences and a number of affiliated institutes have developed a PhD program for a modern and highly sophisticated education of our PhD students. The program is part of your academic training. It is aimed to improve your abilities in your particular field of study, as well as to broaden your scientific horizon beyond your particular research project. You will receive a diploma about participation in this program from your institution along with your PhD diploma. Participation in this program is compulsory for every PhD student of the Faculty of Biosciences. Wednesday, 02.05.12: from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. (only applications for admission to the examination!)
Tuesday, 08.05.12, 15.05.12, 22.05.12, 29.05.12: from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m.
The next PhD celebration, the so called Promotionsfeier, for people graduating in winter term takes place on May 19th, 2012 (Aula der Alten Universität, 10.00 am). Please remember to register or to cancel your participation within the indicated deadline.
