We are proud to announce the COS opening symposium to celebrate the inauguration of our new interdisciplinary Centre for Organismal Studies. COS merges the former University of Heidelberg Institutes of Zoology and Plant Sciences and aims to understand the molecular mechanisms in the context of the entire organism. The speakers represent the various disciplines of our research centre ranging from physiology and metabolism to cell biology and development, both in plants and animals.

There are no registration fees for this symposium. But online registration is required!

Transport & Parking:
The Centre for Organismal Studies is easy to reach both by car and public transport. Please see the following directions. Parking passes will be available for registered symposium participants only. Please use the car park opposite INF 230 (P10-13)

Parking passes: please take a "normal" parking ticket from the machine & drive into the car park. At registration you will be issued with a parking pass which allows you free exit (once only), the other ticket can be discarded.
COS T-shirts & Mugs:
T-shirts and mugs will be on sale throughout the symposium. If you would like to make a purchase please look out for the tables at morning registration or in the foyer.
