Creative Activities for Children

If your child likes to be creative you find a couple of activities in arts and music listed below.

Arts

• The Youth’s Art School (Jugendkunstschule) has a wide range of activities for children, adolescents and young adults to get in touch with arts.
  Courses (Kursangebot Jugendkunstschule Heidelberg)

• The Kurpfälzisches Museum has its own painting room, where children are invited to draw or paint what they have seen at the museum.

  • Children at preschool age can meet Tuesdays for one hour between 14:00 to 17:00.
  • School children meet Thursdays from 14:30 to 17:00.
  • Children of six years or older can meet on Wednesdays from 14:30 to 17:00 to do handcraft or pottery.

Music and Singing

• The Musikschule in Heidelberg offers a wide range of classes for children, adolescents and adults. The offers include singing in a choir, learning how to play an instrument (beginners and advanced).
