Conferences in the heart of Heidelberg’s old town

As Heidelberg University’s conference centre the IWH offers conference facilities, catering and accommodation all under one roof in a convenient location. Our Art Deco Villa with its lovely garden directly below the Heidelberg castle, offers the perfect atmosphere for scientific and philosophical discourse.

Our facilities are primarily used by members of the university and other scientific and research institutions, but also, if our busy schedule allows, by other institutions and companies.


Meeting Facilities

• Conference room for up to 70 people (best for groups between 20 and 50 people)
• Workshop room with white board and screen suitable for round table discussions for up to 20 people - without tables for 25 people
• WLAN
• Breakfast and dining room

Apartments

• 6 double flat rooms and 2 single rooms in the IWH (all apartments are equipped with computer, telephone, internet connection, bathroom and kitchen)
• 2 double rooms and 2 single rooms in Haus Buhl (adjacent to the IWH)
• 22 beds alltogether

If not needed for conference guests, our rooms are also available to guests of the university and other scientific organisations.
