Kick-off for the Hengstberger-Preis 2013

We invite outstanding young researchers from all faculties of Heidelberg University to apply for the Klaus-Georg and Sigrid Hengstberger Award 2013. The grant of 12.500 Euros enables the recipients to organize an international symposium at the IWH. If you are a motivated, skilled researcher with an excellent track record and you have a brilliant idea for an outstanding meeting do not hesitate to send your application by April 1, 2013. More...

Meeting of the Hengstberger-Award winners 2004 – 2013

On October 19 – 20,  2013 the IWH and the university celebrates the award of the Hengstberger-Award for the 10th time. Following the motto "Qualität durch Vielfalt" the IWH invites all previous recipients of the Hengstberger-Award to present their research. The winners of the Klaus-Georg and Sigrid Hengstberger Award 2012

Three winners are awarded the Hengstberger Prize 2012. The IWH-Kuratorium decided to choose the projects submitted by Dr Benito Campos, Dr Thomas Carraro und PD Dr Roland Wenzlhuemer.

Three female academics receive the Hengstberger Award 2011

This year the young scientists and their projects come of the fields of medicine, politics and psychology.

Meeting of the Hengstberger-Award winners 2004 - 2010

2011 the IWH has celebrated its 25th birthday. One of our activities for this occasion was a special meeting for previous recipients of the Hengstberger Award and young academics:
The IWH invited all previous recipients of the Hengstberger Award and other interested young academics of Heidelberg University to participate in this meeting held at the IWH from June 19 - 20. An interesting program was presented by 19 Hengsberger awardees.
The program was held in German.

As the Heidelberg University Conference Centre we host approximately 60 to 70 meetings per year.

For our symposia we publish press releases.
