Diversity Management at Heidelberg University means, among other things, to identify potentials in their most varied expressions. This involves, for example, acknowledging the enrichment through the long life experience of elder university members or the different perspectives of its members’ cultures.

Heidelberg University’s commitment to the concept of diversity is reflected in a wide range of services and activities. The aim of these measures is to create ways to optimize the enriching interaction between the university and its members.
